Commercial Account Manager Job Description
Summary
Alliance Insurance Group is a dynamic, growing, independent insurance agency in Golden, Colorado seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager. This position is full-time Monday thru Friday, though we do close shop an hour early on Fridays. Experience working with multiple carriers and an internal rating system is a plus but not required. A positive can-do attitude is a must. Education in the insurance industry thru CIC programs or CISR programs is highly recommended.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to multi-task
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills
- Great team player
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Aptitude for evaluating and interpreting information
- Property and Casualty license is required
- Experience with Applied Systems EPIC is a plus, as well as familiarity with online rating systems of major carriers such as Travelers, Hartford, Liberty Mutual, MetLife., Progressive, State Auto, and Fireman’s Fund
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Handling and administering customer service calls and inquiries related to Property and Casualty/Life and Health lines of insurance coverage
- Assisting in the servicing of new business accounts, including issuing quotes and preparing proposals for in-house producers and associate members.
- Assisting with re-writes and renewals, as well as ensuring that policies are renewed in a timely fashion
- Attending client meetings and functions to strengthen existing relationships
- Completing ACORD applications and preparing carrier submissions for in-house producers and associate members.
- Quoting new and renewal business
- Processing policies, change requests, endorsements, and audits
- Processing certificates of insurance and ID cards
- Ongoing verbal and written communication with clients, both internal and external
